ELSA needed a purpose built enclosure around an existing component assembly, with external interfaces and access for assembly.

Result

My contribution was mechanical enclosure and component integration support. Carver led the system; USTP produced the enclosure and contributed to door and hinge fitment.

Challenge

Designed and built a reusable temperature-control prototype that packaged a TEC, custom electronics, controls, and enclosure details into a handheld product for customer discovery.

Why it mattered

Emergency teams do not always have reliable ice packs on hand, and single-use packs are limited. Kelvin needed a reusable prototype that could cool, warm, and adjust temperature as the situation changed.

Pet owners sometimes need five minutes inside a store but do not have a safe, comfortable place to leave their dog. PAWD needed an MVP that could make the idea real enough to test.
