Justin Steinfeld is a multifaceted entrepreneur and engineering consultant, bringing over a decade of experience in mechanical engineering, product development, and business strategy to Hardware Hub. As the founder of both Hardware Hub and Aura Homes, Justin has successfully combined his technical expertise with his entrepreneurial vision to drive innovative projects across industries.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Binghamton University and an MBA from Georgia Tech, Justin’s background is rooted in both technical excellence and business acumen. His journey includes participating in the prestigious NSF I-Corps program twice, where he honed his skills in customer discovery, market validation, and commercialization strategies. These experiences have equipped him to guide startups through the critical early phases of product development with confidence and precision.
Justin is an expert in SolidWorks and has extensive hands-on experience with design for manufacturability (DFM), design failure mode effects analysis (DFMEA), and rapid prototyping. Through his vast network of manufacturers, designers, and software engineers, he ensures that Hardware Hub clients have access to the right resources at every stage of development through our extensive network of experts and manufacturing partners.
